Darla

Meet Darla!! This adorable puppy came into the Carson animal shelter as a stray. She had an upper respiratory infection and wasn't doing well. One of our volunteers saw her and couldn't resist her adorable look!!! Darla is now part of the L&F family and is 100% ready to find her forever home. Her foster mom says she is a typical goofy puppy. She has a sweet and gentle disposition. She's crate trained and good on a leash. She gets along with other dogs and loves her toys. If you're looking for a cuddle bug, this little baby is perfect for you. FAST FORWARD: Darla has found her forever home. Her new family fell in love with her at first sight. She is one lucky girl and her new family LOVES her!!!!!

Molly

Meet Molly!!! This girl is a total sweetheart!! One of our volunteers saw her at the Baldwin Park Shelter and couldn't believe how much she looks exactly like puppy Melody who we pulled from the same shelter last month. Both puppies are about the same age, so we are pretty sure they are sisters. Molly is a people pleaser and is looking for a family to give her the love and attention she so much deserves. She has a slight case of kennel cough, and is on meds to help her get over her cough, but should be better in the next two weeks. Molly would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. FAST FORWARD: Molly has found her forever home. She is one LUCKY girl and they are an awesome family. Just look at these pictures, you can tell she is having the time of her life!! Her new family LOVES her!!!!

Frank

Meet Frank!! This handsome, 3 year old fella, was picked up as a stray (yes, with his coat shaved) and taken to the OC Shelter. He wasn't very happy about being there, who could blame him, and he got labeled rescue only. Well, here we are! Frank is a typical, goofy, happy lab. He is in good health and good spirits, now that he is out of the shelter environment. He would love to get back into a home where he belongs! Frank is good with other dogs, appears to be house trained, has some manners and rides well in the car. FAST FORWARD: Frank has found his forever home. His new family LOVE him!!!! He even has a new fur buddy to play and hang out with.

Lucy

Meet Lucy!! There are a lot of pictures in this album as they all tell a story. We happened to have a volunteer at the San Bernardino City Shelter on Tuesday picking up a dog for us. We are not going to lie, this is one of the highest kill shelters in Southern California. Lucy was being dumped, and yes we mean dumped, by her family of 6 years because they got a new dog and decided they no longer wanted her. There were no issues with the other dog, they just chose to drop her off. She had a nice new pink leash and collar, guess that was her consolation prize for being dumped. There was also the owners young daughter witnessing this taking place. We are now teaching our next generation that dogs are disposable when you get a new one. We feel bad for their new dog, as he/she will think they have a wonderful home until they start to age. Lucy is a delight, she is well mannered, easy going, great with other dogs, kids and is house trained. She also rides well in the car and was happy to jump into our volunteers car when she left the scary shelter. Lucy was confused and displaced. Lucy is a kind and gentle soul who deserves so much better than what she had. FAST FORWARD: OH MY!!!!! Lucy scored!! Look at her now!! She has a great family that LOVES her so much. We are so excited for Lucy. This beautiful girl has finally found her forever home and is now getting all the love and attention she deserves!!!!

Holly 1

Meet Holly!! Our sweet, 8 year old, labrador was rescued from the Baldwin Park Shelter after she was left by her previous owners. She had clearly had a few litters of puppies for them. Holly had a bad upper respiratory infection when we pulled her, but now she is healthy and ready for a foster or forever home!!! Holly is a DOLL!!! She loves everyone, is great with other dogs, ignores cats and has manners. She is house trained, good in the car, not too bad on the leash and is beautiful inside and out!!! FAST FORWARD: Our gorgeous senior has found her forever home!!! She will now get all the LOVE and attention she has so much deserved. Holly is one LUCKY girl!!!
