Sierra 1 Meet Sierra!! Sierra is an adorable, 50 pound, sweetheart who found herself at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Sierra ended up there as a stray, full of milk, but no babies. She had an interested family, but after she was spayed and ready they never came back. That is their loss as she is fabulous! Sierra is sweet, loving, gravitates towards kids, is good with other dogs, appears to be house trained and rides like a lady in the car. She is a little insecure on the leash, but doing better every day! Sierra is ready for a home for the Holidaysâ¬!! FAST FORWARD: Sierra has found her forever home. We knew it wouldn't take long as she is amazing!! Her new family LOVES her and are so happy to have her as their fur baby. This is their first OFFICIAL family photo! Introducing Beautiful Karma, (formerly Sierra 1). We are looking forward to many years of Love and Licks!
Chrissy aka Peri Meet Chrissy aka Peri!! Our adorable 10 month old girl was rescued from the Orange Co Shelter where she was scared and confused. Thankfully, one of our amazing foster families raised their hand to foster her and what a difference a day made! Chrissy is a fun loving, well socialized, eager to please girl. Peri is in a foster home with kids, cats, other dogs and she is having a blast! She loves to play fetch and snuggle in bed. She is an active and smart girl who will excel at training and would be a fun sports dog. She is house trained, crate trained and ready for her forever family! FAST FORWARD: It didn't take long for Peri to find her forever home. Her new family LOVES her and she LOVES them!!!

Her skin looks great and she is a happy and healthy little girl! Onyx is petite, making her the perfect size for any living situation. She loves her walks, is good on the leash and appears to be house trained. She is social, good with kids and other dogs and just wants to play! She appears to be house trained and is very eager to please! FAST FORWARD: It didn't take long for Onyx to find her forever home. Brodie This adorable 3 year old Boxer mix once had a loving home. You seeâ¦his family was in the militaryâ¦they got deployedâ¦they didn't want him to go to a shelter as we all know what happens there, so they surrendered him to a "rescue." Sadly, the rescue turned into a hoarding situation and Brodie along with many other dogs and cats found themselves both starved for food and affection. When we heard about Brodie we immediately rescued him from the property. He is an AWESOME boy! Great with kids, other dogs (big and small), house trained and knows some commands. Brodie is fun, playful, and very smart. He was loved once and deserves that happiness again. FAST FORWARD: We rescued Brodie last February. He was a runner and a jumper. We couldn't leave him in the backyard without tethering him to a rope. He got out of our property 10+ times and my husband would have to chase him 3-5 miles each time. Sometimes he would come back on his own and sit across the street staring at us, but wouldn't come to us for hours. He is a nervous doggy in new situations, but after some training and time, he finally trusts us. He is mostly an indoor dog now and when he goes outside he stays in the yard and doesn't jump! My husband walks him off leash and he loves sitting in our front yard watching the kids play. Most importantly he is part of our family and we love him!
Pluto - Puppy At only 3 months old Pluto should be happy, healthy and enjoying puppyhood...sadly, he is VERY sick! Pluto found himself as a stray at a high kill shelter and now he has a severe Upper Respiratory Infection. He also tested positive for Parvo! We had to react fast as we were his only hope...no one else was coming to rescue him. We are doing everything we can for him. Update: Pluto has recovered and is now waiting for his forever family to adopt him. FAST FORWARD: Merry Christmas from Rico, Cheryl and I. Rico is doing very well. He now weighs 18 lbs and is a little taller. The vet says he probably wonât get to any more than 25 lbs. She also thinks he has some Boxer in him which would be consistant with his springyness and his use of his front paws as hands. We start 12 sessions of obedience training on January 9. We have been taking him on a lot of walks (up to 3 miles) and he has had a little time in a couple of fenced in fields to run free. He is fast! He loves to ride in the car and has had quite a lot of exposure to other dogs. He remains a very smart, funny, and lovable pup and we think we made a good choice. We LOVE our new family member, now Rico!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
