A few weeks ago we were asked to help Onyx. This sweet 8 month old lab had been hit by a car. Her mom couldn't afford her surgery so she contacted The Animal Welfare Foundation who paid for her femur to be repaired. Two days after having her surgery her mom brought her to the shelter because she was being deployed.

When we were asked to help we couldn't say no! For the past 3 weeks Onyx has been recovering at a great foster home and is ready for a new home now! Onyx is a doll, she loves people, is good with other dogs, doesn't mind cats and really just wants to be a lap dog! She has a winning personality and there is a charm about her that is infectious.
