Lexi

Meet Puppy Lexie!! This ADORABLE girl was found as a stray in San Diego with a badly broken leg. When we were contact by SDAC to see if we could help, we had no problem saying yes because a foster home was available. Lexie had multiple cast changes, X-rays and now, 2 months later she is cleared and ready for a forever home. Lexie is about 4 months old, she is very well socialized with kids and other dogs, she is house trained, great in the car and knows sit, down, wait and is good on the leash! Lexie loves to snuggle and cuddle and is just an all around great puppy! FAST FORWARD: A wonderful family saw Lexie on our website and knew she was the puppy for her family. They fell in LOVE with her as soon as they met her. Lexie is one lucky girl to have such an awesome forever home. Happy Tails Lexie!!!!

Howie

Meet Howie!! Oh My Goofball!! Is all we can say!! Howie is a 5-6 year old Lab Mix who was a volunteer favorite at the Orange Co Shelter. Howie did great in play groups, loved hanging out with the volunteers and is eager to please. Howie does know his basic commands, is pretty good on the leash, appears to be house trained and as you can tell he thinks he is a lap dog! Howie is one special guy!! FAST FORWARD: Howie has found his forever home. His new family fell in love at first site. We knew he would be quickly adopted. Howie is the perfect dog. Happy Tails Howie!!!!

Sandee

Meet Sandee!! Sandee is an energetic, 2-3 year old lab mix, who was in danger at the Hesperia Shelter. Coming in at 53 pounds she is the perfect size and she is ready to go! Sandee loves to play in her water bowl (we think she will love the beach or a pool) she is good with other dogs, however, she does get excited and it can turn some doggies off. She is crate and house trained. She will chase chickens and dig out of boredom, so she needs an actuve and fulfilling life. FAST FORWARD: Sandee has found her forever home. She is now getting all the love and attention she deserves. Her new family is in love with her and happy Sandee has found her forever home with them. Happy Tails Sandee!!!

Chico

Meet Chico! Chico was adopted and living in a home with kids, another dog and two cats. He was living the best life he's ever had. All of that just recently changed, and his family is no longer able to keep this sweet boy. Chico is a great dog. He loves to play in his yard, take easy walks and cuddle on the sofa with his humans. He really deserves to have a family to love him. In the Beginning: Chico was moments away from being euthanized at the Apple Valley Shelter. Being a male, black and injured he didn't stand a chance. Thankfully, our volunteer saw him and we pulled him. We were hoping Chico had a broken leg, but sadly, he had damage to the major nerves in his front leg. He needed amputation surgery. FAST FORWARD: Chico is finally back in a home with a wonderful family who fell in love with him when they met him. He has been through a lot in his life and he so much deserves to be loved and to have all the attention he needs forever. Chico is a lucky boy to have such an awesome family once again. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Happy Tails to you Chico!!

Isabella

Meet Isabella!! Isabella is an adorable, 35 pound, 7-8 month old lab mix who was actually rescued by a wonderful homeless man when he saw her in a bad situation on the streets of San Diego. When one of our friends at San Diego Pittie Parents met Isabella and her dad, she offered to help them with supplies. In talking further, Isabella's hero realized he couldn't take care of her on the streets and asked for help. When we got the call we immediately said we would help and we were able to get her off the streets before the rain on Friday night. Isabella is doing FABULOUS in her foster home! She is great with other dogs, playful, happy and so sweet! She is house trained, pretty good on the leash and eager to please. Isabella will make a great addition to any family. She is amazing! FAST FORWARD: Look at Isabella now!! What a lucky girl to have a family to call her own. She will now have all the love and attention she so much deserves. Happy Tails Isabella!!!
