Meet Chico!

Betrayed by his family after 8 years…Chico was dumped at the Downey Shelter like it was an old pair of shoes. Chico sat for weeks, we were alerted to him earlier this week and well he was sprung  yesterday with the rest of the kids. Chico seemed to enjoy his ride leaving that scary and lonely place.

Chico is a sweet older guy who is easy going and a gentleman. He is good with kids, people and other dogs. He is a beautiful flat coat retriever mix who still has lots of spunk and love to give. His family said he was house trained and he was clearly loved at one time.
