Molly Meet Molly!!! This girl is a total sweetheart!! One of our volunteers saw her at the Baldwin Park Shelter and couldn't believe how much she looks exactly like puppy Melody who we pulled from the same shelter last month. Both puppies are about the same age, so we are pretty sure they are sisters. Molly is a people pleaser and is looking for a family to give her the love and attention she so much deserves. She has a slight case of kennel cough, and is on meds to help her get over her cough, but should be better in the next two weeks. Molly would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. FAST FORWARD: Molly has found her forever home. She is one LUCKY girl and they are an awesome family. Just look at these pictures, you can tell she is having the time of her life!! Her new family LOVES her!!!!
Max Meet Max!! This adorable 8 month old fella was on the euthanasia list at the OC shelter when we were asked to help him! A wonderful foster came forward so we said yes! Max is house trained, well socialized with kids and other dogs and he is learning is basic commands. Max is eager to please and ready for a home to call his own! Monkey This adorable 1-2 year old guy found himself on death row at the San Bernardino City Shelter, after his owner dumped him there. Of course, Monkey got sick while he was there and he also has a deformed foot, so all strikes were against him at that shelter. For us it was no big deal! Monkey lives up to his name, he is funny, sweet, loving, wants to be with you and is very well socialized. He is beautiful both inside and out. Monkey appears to be house trained, crate trained, well mannered and very easy going. He would be a great addition to any family. FAST FORWARD: Monkey has settled in so well! We love him - the introduction with our other dog, Ellie, couldnât have gone any smoother. Ellie is even bringing him all her toys to share and play with. We LOVE him!!!!!
Max HBC A sweet, 1-2 year old, neutered black lab was picked up and brought to the Downey Shelter. He was immediately networked because he had been hit by a car and needed medical attention. We were alerted to him and we were the only ones to step up to help him. This sweet boy is now Max and he was clearly hit by a car and then dragged by it. We got Max stabilized and had our orthopedic vet assess his leg. Sadly, the leg was broken, degloved, decayed flesh and serious tendon and ligament damage. He needed an IMMEDIATE amputation. He is one of the sweetest boys even being in excruciating pain. FAST FORWARD: Max had his surgery and went to a wonderful foster home to recover. His recovery went very well and his foster family began to fall in LOVE with him. We had someone interested in adopting Max. When we contacted his foster mom there was no way she could let him leave their family. Another foster failure, but then we LOVE them!!! Fosters are the best!!
