Mattie

Meet Mattie!! This adorable girl was found alone and scared in the Inland Empire. She wasn't micro-chipped or wearing a tag to help us find her family. We advertised her for 30 days and now it is time for her to find a forever family! Mattie is an absolute doll! She is great with other dogs, good with kids, loves to give kisses, play with her toys and be with her people. She is house trained/doggie door trained, knows sit, working on down and leave it and she is fairly good on the leash. She is sweet, eager to please and has a tail that never stops wagging!! She is AWESOME! FAST FORWARD: Mattie has found her forever home!! Her new mom and dad met her at the Pet Expo, in Foothill Ranch, and fell in LOVE with her. They are excited to have Mattie as a new member of their family. She is one lucky girl. They LOVE her and said is just perfect!!

Maya 1

Meet Maya!! Our sweet and adorable Maya is looking for a place to call home. Maya is a 3 year old Beagle-Bull who is so darn cute, you can't help but fall in love with her. Prior to coming into rescue, Maya was injured when she was hit by a car. She suffered a broken pelvis, which has since healed, but the trauma of the accident has caused her to become fearful. Maya has been working with a trainer, and has made great strides in over coming her fears. Maya absolutely loves other dogs, and while living with her trainer, Maya became a pro at showing the new dogs how to integrate into the pack walks. This special little girl, needs a special adopter, someone who will have patience and continue to help her over come her fears. Things like keeping up on her daily walks and taking her out to experience new things. Maya would do best in a home with another dog, and she is great with kids and tested okay for cats. FAST FORWARD: Maya has found her forever home. Her new family adores her!! She is one lucky girl to have such a wonderful family!!

Malabar

Meet Malabar! Our adorable, 5 year old, Aussie Mix was at the Downey Shelter bunking with a yellow lab who got rescued. When we met both dogs we knew we had to help Malabar as he is AWESOME! This handsome boy hasn't disappointed us yet! Malabar is a sweet, happy, gentle fellow who is leash trained, knows basic commands, house trained and very well socialized. Malabar is content with going out and about, and also just hanging out relaxing. He is a very well balanced boy and was clearly someone's companion. FAST FORWARD: Malabar has found his forever home. His new family LOVES him!!

Minnie

Meet Minnie.....Thanksgiving Eve the Redlands Shelter goes out on a humane call regarding a lab mix with an open wound. When they got there they found 4 year old Minnie who had been hit by a car 2 MONTHS ago. She was outside laying in pain with a mangled front leg and open wounds. She was immediately taken to an outside vet who then contacted us. Minnie's leg was broken, tendons decaying and open flesh rotting. With the help of the shelter volunteers we arranged transport on Black Friday and immediately got her to our vet. Minnie required immediate care. Sadly, we had to amputate her front leg. This was an unexpected medical expense, but we couldn't let Minnie be euthanized by the shelter after going through all that. After surgery we got her into a great foster home where she can now heal and be loved. FAST FORWARD: Minnie has found her forever home. Her new family LOVES her and are so glad she has become part of their family!!

Marta

Meet Marta!!! Marta was left at the shelter with two of her puppies. She was used as a breeder dog, so she never got the love and attention she deserved. Marta is a little shy around new people, but warms up when she is in a comfortable environment. She can be boisterous, but LOVES attention, cuddles and belly rubs. She needs to be in a home with a patient and quiet family as loud noises can startle her. Her foster mom says she has come a long way and is learning that people aren't so bad. Marta loves car rides, walks and especially her dinner time!! She is easy on a leash and can walk further than her younger doggie sister who is much younger in age. She gets along with other dogs and ignores most cats. Marta is a sweet and loving girl who needs to find her forever home with a comfy couch, plentiful treats and constant love and attention. FAST FORWARD: It took a little while, but Marta now has her forever family. She loves her new mom and has settled into her new home where she's getting lots of love and attention.
