Lucky Meet Lucky!! Our amazing 9 year old fella finds himself back with us a year later when his family's lifestyle changed. Lucky is a stunning, 100 pound, yellow labrador who loves everyone! He is very well socialized with dogs and kids, well mannered, house/crate trained and knows his basic commands. Lucky is the perfect companion. In the Beginning: This stunning fella, was dropped off by his family at the Baldwin Park Shelter, no reason given, they just turned around and left. When our volunteers saw him they knew we had to get him out of there right away. This sweet, loving boy deserved so much better. Lucky is a stunning, sweet, happy boy who appears to love everyone! He was SO happy to get sprung from the shelter he was literally dancing! Lucky is house trained, good with other dogs, good with kids, but we do not know about cats. FAST FORWARD: We are hoping Lucky has finally found his forever home. His new family fell in LOVE with him when they first met him. They are excited to have him as a member of their family. Looks like Lucky finally scored and will now have all the love and attention he so much deserves. Happy Tails Lucky!!!
Logan Meet Logan! This adorable boy was found in a field by animal control, in the Carson area. He didn't have a collar, tags or a micro chip... His owners never came looking for him. One of our volunteers spotted him in the shelter and knew we needed to get him out of there as soon as possible. We found a foster home for him so he was now safe. His foster mom says Logan is a typical puppy and a total sweetheart!! FAST FORWARD: Logan found his forever home in five days. His foster mom couldn't believe how fast he was adopted and didn't want to give him up so quickly. His new mom and dad came to meet him at one of our adoption events. They had recently lost their Border Collies mix from old age. As soon as his new mom saw him she started to cry, which of course brought tears to several of us!! It was instant LOVE and they are so excited to have Logan in their lives. Happy Tails Logan!!!!

Her new family LOVES her and they are the perfect home for this beautiful girl!!!

Her owners let her suffer with a prolapsed uterus for days. In pain, bleeding and near death she was relinquished to the shelter. She had urgent surgery and then she satâ¦and satâ¦and then she was made available NO OTHER rescue showed any interest in helping her. When she was on the euthanasia list we stepped upâ¦we just had too⦠Looney is about 4-5 years old, she is all of 50 pounds and pure love. She is completely healthy now and really needs a foster or better yet forever home to show her love. She is very affectionate, sweet, happy and easy going. Lucy Meet Lucy!! Lucy was rescued from the Carson Shelter after she was brought in by her familyâ¦she had gotten loose and was most likely hit by a car. She couldn't stand or walk, and they didn't know what to do. They surrendered her, and then the shelter contacted us. Lucy has been with us for several weeks now. We did x-rays and saw swelling along her spine, she has been on steroids and getting laser treatments. After several weeks, she is now able to stand and walk on her own. She is now in a foster home to help her continue on the road to recovery. Lucy is great with other dogs, though she is not quite ready for lots of playing, she is good with kids, house trained and an absolute doll. Lucy is a total sweetheart!! FAST FORWARD: Lucy has found an incredible forever home. Her new family is going to continue her rehabilitation to help get her back to 100%.
