Meet Looney!

Allowing an animal to suffer is something we will never understand…Looney was part of a confiscation case at one of our local shelters. Her owners let her suffer with a prolapsed uterus for days.  In pain, bleeding and near death she was relinquished to the shelter. She had urgent surgery and then she sat…and sat…and then she was made available NO OTHER rescue showed any interest in helping her. When she was on the euthanasia list we stepped up…we just had too…

Looney is about 4-5 years old, she is all of 50 pounds and pure love. She is completely healthy now and really needs a foster or better yet forever home to show her love. She is very affectionate, sweet, happy and easy going. She is house trained, good with other dogs and very well mannered. She is a true gem.
