Mattie

Meet Mattie!! This adorable girl was found alone and scared in the Inland Empire. She wasn't micro-chipped or wearing a tag to help us find her family. We advertised her for 30 days and now it is time for her to find a forever family! Mattie is an absolute doll! She is great with other dogs, good with kids, loves to give kisses, play with her toys and be with her people. She is house trained/doggie door trained, knows sit, working on down and leave it and she is fairly good on the leash. She is sweet, eager to please and has a tail that never stops wagging!! She is AWESOME! FAST FORWARD: Mattie has found her forever home!! Her new mom and dad met her at the Pet Expo, in Foothill Ranch, and fell in LOVE with her. They are excited to have Mattie as a new member of their family. She is one lucky girl. They LOVE her and said is just perfect!!

Dom

Meet Dom!! Look How Handsome Dom is!!!! Seriously, who can resist this face? Dom is a ladies man for sure. Our amazing 75 pound guy is ready for a forever home to call his own. He is doing great on his leash manners, already knows the basics and he is well socialized with other dogs. Dom is the perfect catch for sure. Dom is active, loves his walks, playing ball and hanging out with the volunteers. He is a quick study, eager to please and very food motivated. Hard to believe this 10 month old stunner was left at the Carson Shelter by his family when they moved. You know he is special when he is kept alive for 60 days waiting for someone to notice how special he is…well we noticed and now he is part of the LAF family! Merry Christmas Dom! Dom is truly AMAZING!! He is fun, energetic, well mannered in the car and an overall great dog!!! FAST FORWARD: Dom has found his forever home!! His new family fell in LOVE with him when the saw him at the apex Expo, in Foothill Ranch. They went back home and got their Lab and brought her back to introduce her to Dom. They were perfect together! Dom's new family didn't want to wait a week to make his adoption final. After one day, they let us know he was officially adopted. They LOVE Dom!!!

Kiwi

Meet Kiwi!! Who is ready for some puppy breath?? Kiwi was rescued from the San Bernardino City Shelter this past week. We were truly surprised she wasn't adopted prior to us getting there. She is a sweet, fun/water loving, 4 month old puppy who is well socialized and very smart! Kiwi is doing great with her house training, is learning her basic commands and is eager to please. FAST FORWARD: Kiwi, now Sundance or Sunny, has found her new home!!! Kiwi was at the Pet Expo in the Foothill Ranch area where there were a lot of dogs up for adoption. When her new mom spotted Kiwi, it was instant love!! Kiwi is enjoying her new home, and her new mom LOVES her!!!

Dixie Rose's Buckwheat

Meet Buckwheat!! Oh My Adorable Puppy!! Buckwheat is looking for his forever home. He was rescued with his mom (she is working with our trainer) from the streets by our good friends at Hope For Paws! They asked if we could help find the family find great homes and that is what we are going to do!! Buckwheat is 8 weeks old, happy, healthy and absolutely adorable! He is in a loving foster home, getting lots of love, and being socialized with kids and other dogs. He is very sweet, well mannered and smart. His mom is about 35 pounds, so we do not expect him to be large, probably more of a medium dog 35-45 pounds. FAST FORWARD: Our darling little boy Buckwheat has found his forever family. His new name is Rudy and he has a family to LOVE him forever now!!!

Dixie Rose's Maple
