Chuey

Meet Chuey!! It is hard to believe what a difference 6 weeks can make, but as you can see from Chuey's pictures, his transformation is amazing! We rescued Chuey from the Downey Shelter in April…he was in horrible condition. His skin was raw from demodex (non-contagious) mange and a secondary bacterial infection. His joints were swollen and he was in extreme pain (he would actually cry if you touched him) … he had no hope of making it out alive. Luckily for Chuey, one of our volunteers saw him, offered to foster (YES, Fosters DEFINITELY Save Lives!) and he has been getting the medical care he desperately needed. Fast forward 6 weeks and now King Chuey is ruling his castle! He is feeling happy, playful and SO much better! Chuey is all of 31 pounds and we believe he is about 9 months to a year old. He is completely house trained, crate trained (even respects an exercise pen) and good with other dogs. He is what we call an adorable low rider with big personality! He is learning his basic commands and is eager to please. FAST FORWARD: Chuey has found his forever home. His new mom LOVES him!!!!

Ginny

Meet Ginny!! How many ways can you say ADORABLE?? Well, you haven't met Ginny yet! Ginny is the sweetest, goofiest, girl you will ever meet. This doll found her self at the Animal Friends of the Valley Shelter on borrowed time. We saw her video and couldn't resist her. Ginny is a happy, active girl who loves to play fetch and play with her toys! Ginny is great with kids, she would do best with slightly older kids since she is very active, but respectful. Ginny appears to be house trained, she is crate trained, needs leash manners, but is a quick learner and is eager to please. FAST FORWARD: After over 2 years in rescue Ginny has found her FOREVER HOME!!! We are SO Thrilled!! Ginny came to us from the Lake Elsinore Shelter, she was a VERY active young girl who we fondly called the energizer bunny!! Well, she found her match, and her new mom is over the moon with her. She says they are the perfect match and they couldn't be happier!! They LOVE her!!

Scout

Meet Scout! Scout is about 8 weeks old and is looking for a forever home to call his own. He is a typical puppy and loves to play and sleep. He wants a family that he can give lots of puppy kisses to and get love in return. FAST FORWARD: Puppy Scout found his forever home. His new family LOVES him!! They sent us a picture of him all grown up at two years old now. He is one lucky boy to have such a great family.

Oliver

Meet Oliver!! Oliver is a 6 year old, 90 pound lap dog who found his way to the Baldwin Park Shelter. Not only is this guy handsome he is an even bigger goofball!! If there is a couch and your lap you can guarantee he will be on it giving you kisses!! Oliver is sweet, happy, eager to please and a bit of a dork. He doesn't realize how big he is and he could knock over kids under 8. He is good with other dogs, not too bad on the leash, but really would benefit from some basic obedience classes. Oliver is energetic and ready to go. FAST FORWARD: It didn't take long for Oliver to find his forever home. His new family LOVES him and he is a big happy boy now!!

Dory

Meet Dory!! Dory is a 2 year old ACD/Border Collie maybe a little pointer mix who washed up at the Orange Co Shelter. The shelter was extremely over whelming for her and she didn't stand much of a chance of getting out of there. Our volunteer saw she was just scared and we got her out just in time. Dory was such a different dog once we got her out of the shelter. She walks well on the leash, appears to be dog social and we believe she is house trained. Dory is still a little nervous in new surroundings, but she warms up quickly and you can tell she desperately wants to bond with you. FAST FORWARD: Dory has found her forever home. her new family LOVES her!!!
