Lalita

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Lalita!! This beautiful girl sat at the Carson Shelter petrified, waiting for her family to come and find her and they never came. She would sit, trembling on her bed, going unnoticed day after day... thankfully, one of our volunteers saw her and we made sure she got out of there! Lalita is a beautiful, 3 year old girl, who is now gaining weight and coming out of her shell. She is on the petite side, easy going, appears to be house trained and is extremely sweet. She appears to be good with other dogs and she is learning her basic commands. FAST FORWARD: Lalita, now known as Lexie, has found her forever home!!! Their vet thinks she may have some Greyhound in her. But who cares, she's an all around great dog!! Lexie is now getting all the love and attention she so much deserves. Look how GORGEOUS she is!!! Her new family LOVES her and they are the perfect home for this beautiful girl!!!

Martin

Look At Martin Now!! Martin has been de-ticked, neutered, tested for every tick borne disease, vaccinated and is now HEALTHY, HAPPY and ready for a foster or forever home!! Our volunteers are in LOVE with this fella!! Martin is about 2-3 years old, very sweet, great on the leash, easy going, soaks up all the love you can give him and gives it back three fold! He appears to be house trained, good with other dogs and is just a love! In the Beginning: This sweet, beautiful, 2 year old lab mix was living in a squalor in South Central LA. Infested with ticks, unaltered and starved for attention we were asked if we could help him. When we saw the pictures, all the ticks he was infested with, there was no way we could say no. The village came together to get Martin out of his horrible living conditions and safe at our vet. His medical work up is a bit different because of the ticks, so we are doing a full tick/lyme/heartworm blood panel, tick dip, grooming, neuter, vaccines and meds. We weren't expecting this, but we couldn't turn our back on him. Martin is barely 2 years old and deserves to live a happy and healthy life! FAST FORWARD: Martin has found his forever home!!! His new family LOVES him!!! Look how happy he is. Happy Tails for Martin!!!

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Jeremy!! Jeremy is an adorable, 3 year old guy who was not doing well at the Orange Co Shelter. Jeremy is now out, safe and looking for a foster, or better yet, a forever home! Jeremy made his event debut and did really well! Jeremy is good with other dogs, walks well on the leash, does well with kids and adults and appears to know some commands. We think Jeremy is house trained and he is eager to please! FAST FORWARD: Jeremy has found his forever family!!! They immediately fell in love with him when they me him. His new family is so excited to have him as part of their family. They LOVE him!!!

Jazzy

Meet Jazzy!! Hard to believe Jazzy's adopter was a no show at the Carson Shelter...no problem, we got her the heck out of there! This adorable, 3-4 month old pup was found alone on a freeway by a good samaritan who brought into the shelter. She is now safe and ready to find her forever family. Jazzy is as adorable as they come! She is good with other dogs, kids, doing well with her house training and is super smart and eager to please! She is just seriously awesome!!!! FAST FORWARD: Jazzy had several adoption applications for her. We knew it had to be the perfect home for this sweet energetic puppy who LOVES water!! Well, we found the perfect home for Jazzy. She has a nice home with a pool to swim in, and a house at the river where she can swim. Her new mom and dad LOVE her!!!! She is one LUCKY girl to have such an awesome family!!!

Benny

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Benny!! All we can say about Benny is WOW! He is AMAZING!! Benny was owner surrendered to the Sacramento Shelter. He scored ACES on his temp test and was going to be made available for adoption but he had an old medical issue that derailed that. At least a year and a half ago Benny had tears on both his ACL's, over time they have created enough scar tissue so he doesn't need surgery, but some good old swimming and physical therapy would do him wonders! Benny is GREAT with other dogs, loves kids, loves to play ball, is house trained, rides well in the car and is seriously pretty darn perfect! Nothing slows him down, he is always happy and ready to play! If a foster is found in San Diego he has Maja at Tsavo's Canine Rehabilitation & Fitness Center, Inc. ready to help him with swim and physical therapy! Let's make this happen for this WONDERFUL 4 year old fella!! FAST FORWARD: Benny has found his forever home!! His new family loves him. He gets along with their cats and chickens and loves swimming in their pool. Benny is one lucky boy to have found such a great family to love him!!!
