Kobe

Meet Kobe!! Kobe is Still Waiting To Meet You... Kobe is an amazing fella who survived the Carson Shelter, pneumonia and has now patiently been waiting months for a family... Kobe is sweet, goofy, loving and well trained. He is in great health, just a little arthritis starting in his back end. He loves to play, go for walks, hang out and get love and attention. Kobe is good with kids and med/large dogs. Kobe's story in the beginning was heartbreaking... This handsome, 5 year old guy was literally dying at the Carson Shelter. He was left by the only family he knew when they were moving and couldn't take him. He sat for weeks hoping someone would adopt him and then he got pneumonia. When we pulled him he could barely breath and had lost over 10 pounds. Three weeks later, our amazing boy is now happy, healthy and looking for a new family to love him forever!! Kobe is a sweet, mellow guy who would make an excellent addition to any family, he really is that special!! FAST FORWARD: Kobe has finally found his forever home!!! His new family LOVES him and he is now getting all the love and attention he so much deserves. Thank you Pam and Mike for showing Kobe that he is now safe and loved forever. Happy Tails Kobe!!!

Buddy

Meet Buddy!! Yes, this is Buddy from Carson Shelter.....left behind by his family when they moved to a place where he wasn't wanted...he was heart broken!! Well, that is now behind him and he is in a wonderful foster home getting the love and attention he deserves. All he needs now is a wonderful forever home to love him. Buddy is a sweet, 9 year old fella, who seems to get along great with everyone. He is well mannered, knows basic commands, is definitely house trained and is good on the leash. He wants to be close to you and loves to just hang out. FAST FORWARD: Buddy has found his forever home!! His new family fell in LOVE with him as soon as they met him. His new mom knows one of our volunteers at the rescue from Starbucks. We are so happy for Buddy and his new family. Happy Tails Buddy!!!!

Austin

Meet Austin from Louisiana!! Many of you know we were part of the latest efforts to rescue dogs from the flood ravaged areas of Louisiana, well now it is time to introduce you to them individually! This is Austin and OH MY DAWG he is amazing!! Austin is about a year old black labrador who found himself in a high kill shelter after the floods. To say he is fabulous is almost an understatement! Austin got to spend the day at one of our volunteers homes getting a bath, playing in the pool and being spoiled! Austin is great with other dogs, good with kids, clearly LOVES to swim and is one of those dogs you just shake your head knowing he could have been euthanized. Austin appears to be house trained, loves to play ball, is pretty good on the leash and would benefit from some basic training. FAST FORWARD: We had numerous applications for Austin. Our goal is to find the best home for both the dog and the adopter. Well, we found the most incredible home for Austin!! His new family is perfect for him! He gets to swim everyday and he gets a lot of love, attention and exercise. Austin scored big time and so did his new family!!

Emma's Elvis

Elvis and his siblings are an adorable bunch and they are all FABULOUS! Elvis is well socialized, smart, fun and ADORABLE!! FAST FORWARD: Elvis has found his forever home!! His new mom and dad LOVE him. I doubt it was the puppy breath and kisses that son them over. Just look how adorable he is!! Happy Tail Elvis, you now have a lot of LOVE and attention for the rest of your life!!!!

Sierra

Meet Sierra!! Our adorable 1.5 year old girl was paralyzed with fear during the 4th of July madness at the Baldwin Park Shelter. She was over looked because she is black and was scared. Thankfully, she caught our eye and we were able to get her out of there. Of course, once out she started to blossom!! Sierra is 48 pounds of pure love! She is lovable, eager to please and ready to learn. She is slowly getting used to being on the leash, she does appear to be house trained. She is very loving, good with other dogs and even cats! She is good with kids but maybe a little exuberant for the wee ones. FAST FORWARD: Sierra has found her forever home!! Her new family is in LOVE with her. She finally has all the love and attention she so much deserves. Happy Tails sweet Sierra!!
