Sage

Meet Sage!! What a beautiful Black Lab she is, and what a wonderful and loving home we found for her. It's been several years since we've heard from her new family. They sent us this stunning picture of Sage and said "We adopted our black lab from you 5 years ago in June! Here is a photo from this last Christmas, we love her so much!!!! She is our first baby and we are so happy to have her as a member of our family." This is why we do what we do. Rescuing these precious souls makes our lives richer. Thank you to all of you that have adopted a dog and given them the love they so much deserve.

Sierra 1

Meet Sierra!! Sierra is an adorable, 50 pound, sweetheart who found herself at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Sierra ended up there as a stray, full of milk, but no babies. She had an interested family, but after she was spayed and ready they never came back. That is their loss as she is fabulous! Sierra is sweet, loving, gravitates towards kids, is good with other dogs, appears to be house trained and rides like a lady in the car. She is a little insecure on the leash, but doing better every day! Sierra is ready for a home for the Holidays‬!! FAST FORWARD: Sierra has found her forever home. We knew it wouldn't take long as she is amazing!! Her new family LOVES her and are so happy to have her as their fur baby. This is their first OFFICIAL family photo! Sophia

Meet Sophia!! Found as a stray, this beautiful 2 year old girl ended up at the Baldwin Park Shelter. She caught the eye of our volunteer, she was scared, depressed and loosing hope. That experience is now behind her as she is part of the LAF family now! Sophia is now ready for a foster or forever home to help her feel loved again! Sophia is friendly, submissive, a little shy at first, but warms up quickly, listens very well and is eager to please. She walks well on the leash, easy to handle and just a little insecure (she needs some confidence). She appears to have a medium energy level, good with other dogs, rides well in the car and we believe she maybe house trained. Sophia is a true gem! FAST FORWARD: Sophia found her new family just days after we rescued her. Her news family fell in love with her as soon as they met her. She is one very LUCKY girl to have such a great family now. They LOVE her!!!!

Skye

Meet Skye!! Our STUNNING little girl was rescued from the Carson Shelter. We could not get over her striking good looks!! Skye is petite, sweet and so smart. She loves everyone and everyone loves her back!! Skye is not going to be a very big girl, she has a petite frame and the most beautiful features. She is very well socialized and loves to play and cuddle. She is very eager to please and learned to sit and lay down in less than 30 minutes. She rides well in the car and loves to run, jump and play. FAST FORWARD: It doesn't surprise us that Skye found her new forever home so quickly. She is a beautiful girl and so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Skye is getting all the love and attention she deserves and her new family LOVES her!!!!

Sparky

Hard to believe a family would just dump their senior chocolate lab at the shelter…well, that is what happened to poor Sparky! This handsome fella was pulled from the Downey shelter after our volunteer saw what happened. Sparky is a DOLL! Happy, sweet, loving, eager to please, great with everyone he meets and is just an all around awesome boy! Sparky is house trained, knows some commands and just wants to find a forever family that will give him the love and attention he deserves. FAST FORWARD: Sparky has found his forever home. They are in LOVE with him and he is now one HAPPY boy to have a family to love on him!!!
