Melody

Melody is a stunning 6 month old Puppy. But don't let that word puppy fool you, she is potty trained and crate trained. She adores big dogs, so if you are looking to add to your pack she is your girl. Miss Melody weighs in at 28 lbs and we expect her to stay on the medium side. She loves kids but not fond of cats. Melody has a wonderful calm energy and would make an awesome addition to an individual's or families busy lifestyle. She loves car rides and being with her humans. According to her Foster Mom "She's just a perfect and well mannered sweetheart". FAST FORWARD: Melody has found her forever home. The pictures were taken on her first day with her new family. As you can see, she is one HAPPY girl and they LOVE her!!!

Max 1

Max was pulled from the Apple Valley shelter with his sister Mandy and his mom, Marta. He's a little on the shy side, but a very sweet and loving boy. He needs some leash training, but is very manageable. Max is willing to learn and should be easy to train. He is good with people and other dogs. FAST FORWARD: Max has found his forever home. He was a little shy the first couple of days, but has begun to settle in and loves exploring in the back yard. His curious pointer attitude is starting to show through. He has learned to play a little with toys and is now stealing shoes and other articles of clothing. He loves his new food, Natural Balance Duck & Potato. We LOVE him!!!!

Major

Happy Ending ALERT!! How cool is this?? L&F Alumni, Major, is sporting his AWESOME handmade collar from "Let There Be Collars" WHILE he is being his dad's co-pilot!!! Major was passed over by other rescues for being too energetic. Well, it looks like he is putting that energy to good use. His mom and dad are flying missions for Pilots N Paws and he is Major Co Pilot!! We couldn't be more proud of our amazing boy!! We knew Major was destined for great things and his forever mom and dad agreed!!

Mae

This adorable 9 month old nugget was adopted from the Carson Shelter and then returned when the resident dog was not happy about her moving in. Mae is just DARLING and ADORABLE!! This sweet little girl just loves everyone. She is happy as can be and did we mention adorable?? Mae is house trained, crate trained, knows some commands and is very well socialized with kids and other dogs. We posted her on Facebook and received the following response: Please let me know how I can reach you as I'm driving! We have tried twice to adopt this dog from Carson, once in December and yesterday and we have another Swiss Mountain Dog at home. We have loved this dog since seeing her in December and we want the opportunity to adopt her. I will be back to my computer in a half hour and will complete the application. We have the yard and home and love for Mae. Our dog Champ would LOVE a little sister to play with and she will have lots of love and play time with our family. There was no way we could pass up this applicant. Mae, who is now known as Paige, is happy and loving her new home.

Midnight

Midnight's new owner fell in LOVE with him at first sight, but who wouldn't!! She was thinking he might be a great therapy dog. Her friend, who has cancer, also honed in on Midnight when she saw him on the website. She had no clue until they were talking and one of them asked the other if they had seen Midnight on the web page. They are very good friends so they now both get the joy of Midnight's company! More about Midnight---They don't get anymore perfect than this guy! Midnight is a handsome, debonaire, 10 years young, pure bred black labrador who lost his family. Brought home as a puppy, he was very well socialized with other dogs, kids of all ages and even cats. He is perfect and deserves a home to call his own! Midnight is completely house trained, knows basic commands and is good on the leash. He is as sweet as they come and he is guaranteed to melt your heart instantly!
