Leia Puppy

Meet puppy Leia! Leia is a dream puppy, she is sweet, loving and gentle. She LOVES to cuddle in your lap and be with her people. Leia is potty trained and crate trained. She gets along with big and little dogs and even young children. She LOVES to play with squeaky toys and splashing in the water. Leia is the perfect size for any home! When we first got Leia we couldn't imagine being a 6 month old puppy…you are lost…hit by a car and then end up in the shelter! That is what happened to our adorable puppy Leia. Our sweet puppy ended up at the Carson shelter with lacerations all over her body, mouth and a fractured right humeral head to her front leg. This poor little girl was in so much pain. We got her to the vet, cleaned her up and got her surgery to fix her breaks. FAST FORWARD: Leia has found her forever home!! Her new family adopted a dog from us a couple of years ago and wanted to get another dog. They fell in LOVE with Leia as soon as they saw her. She is one lucky girl to have such a wonderful family to call her forever home.

Lucy

Meet Lucy!! There are a lot of pictures in this album as they all tell a story. We happened to have a volunteer at the San Bernardino City Shelter on Tuesday picking up a dog for us. We are not going to lie, this is one of the highest kill shelters in Southern California. Lucy was being dumped, and yes we mean dumped, by her family of 6 years because they got a new dog and decided they no longer wanted her. There were no issues with the other dog, they just chose to drop her off. She had a nice new pink leash and collar, guess that was her consolation prize for being dumped. There was also the owners young daughter witnessing this taking place. We are now teaching our next generation that dogs are disposable when you get a new one. We feel bad for their new dog, as he/she will think they have a wonderful home until they start to age. Lucy is a delight, she is well mannered, easy going, great with other dogs, kids and is house trained. She also rides well in the car and was happy to jump into our volunteers car when she left the scary shelter. Lucy was confused and displaced. Lucy is a kind and gentle soul who deserves so much better than what she had. FAST FORWARD: OH MY!!!!! Lucy scored!! Look at her now!! She has a great family that LOVES her so much. We are so excited for Lucy. This beautiful girl has finally found her forever home and is now getting all the love and attention she deserves!!!!

Lil Foot Puppy

Meet Lil Foot!! Oh My Puppy!! This adorable, 3 month old fella was found with 4 little dogs on the streets of Anaheim. Lil Foot is about 3 months old, he is going to be a big boy, we think he maybe a hound/dane mix. He is sweet, loving, adorable and a really good puppy! He is currently boarding at our vets office, he received his vaccines and is healthy. We really want to get him out and into a home as soon as possible! FAST FORWARD: Lil Foot has found his forever home. His new family LOVES hime!!! He even has a fur buddy to snuggle and play with. He is one LUCKY boy!!!!

Lily

Meet Lily!! Lily is a STUNNING, girl who found herself at the Carson Shelter waiting for her family to come and find her. We noticed Lily because her kennel mate was our puppy Millie. We actually thought they were mom and pup at first, but we later found out they were not related. It was good news for Lily though, as we saw how amazing she was and now she is safe with us. Lily is sweet, loving, easy going and great with everyone! She is beautiful inside and out. Lily appears to be house trained, she is well socialized and appears to have had some basic training. Lily is ready for a new family to come and make her a part of it. FAST FORWARD: Lily has found her forever home. Her new mom LOVES her!!!!

Lola

Meet Lola!!! Lola is a sweet, beautiful, affectionate 1-year-old dog who likes to play with her squeaky toys and hang out with her humans. She loves kids and would make a wonderful companion for a family with children. Lola knows her basic commands and is very eager to please. She is curious and playful. She is house trained and crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night with her toys. Lola would make a great addition to any family and she will love you unconditionally!! Lola had a wonderful litter of puppies who have all been adopted, so now it's her turn to find a forever family of her own. FAST FORWARD: Lola found her forever home. What a wonderful family. They have taken the time to work with her and she has become an amazing dog!! Here is what her adopters said: I just wanted to give you an update on Lola. She is doing amazing. Tonight I am so proud of our rescue pup, Lola. She passed her test and earned her Canine Good Citizen Certification. I hope this shows what good dogs pitbulls can be. Thank you for doing such an amazing job with the rescue. She is such a great addition to our family. We LOVE her!!!!
