Dobie aka Chewie

Meet Dobie aka Chewie!! This beautiful black Lab found himself in the shelter, alone and scared. The shelter reached out to us and asked if we could help him. We couldn't say no to this handsome boy. He immediately went to our vet to be checked out to be sure he was healthy and ready to find a home. FAST FORWARD: We had an adopter just waiting for Chewie to come along. Chewie was only at our vets a couple of days before he was met by his adopter. It was love at first sight!! Chewie now has an awesome home where he is now getting all the love and attention he deserves. Happy Tails Chewie!!

Desi

Puppy Desi Is Waiting To Meet You!! Who can resist puppy breath? Puppy Desi was rescued from the Carson shelter and she is doing awesome in her foster home!! Desi is a well socialized, lovable, sweet girl who is learning about potty training and how to be a good puppy! She is a ROCK STAR! FAST FORWARD: Puppy Desi has found her forever home!! Her new mom and dad happened to see Desi at one of our adoption events. They immediately fell in LOVE with her!! Desi, who is now known as Pink, has a fur buddy and a mom and dad who think the world of her. Happy Tails Desi, now Pink!!!

D-Cassie

Meet Downey Puppy Cassie!! Puppy Cassie is one of the 3 Downey Parvo puppies we rescued a couple of weeks ago. Cassie is now happy, healthy and ready for her forever home!! Cassie is now about 10 weeks old and doing fabulous in her foster home. She is an active, smart, playful girl who loves people, kids, other dogs and cats! She just wants to play and hang out with you. Cassie is doing great on her house training, learning her basic commands and would love an active family with a doggie playmate. FAST FORWARD: Cassie has found her forever home. Her new family LOVES her and knew she was the dog they had been looking for. Cassie now has a loving family and a forever home to call her own. Dixie

Meet Dixie!! This sweet little girl was picked up by Animal Control as a stray if you can believe that!! Her family didn't come to get her, so we got her out of there as quick as we could. We found a wonderful foster home where she is learning her basics so she can become a great dog. Dixie is a typical energetic puppy, who loves to snuggle with her people. She is good with other dogs and even cats! She even likes playing with the fosters cat. She is house broken, crate trained and does pretty good on a leash. She is good with kids and she loves her toys!! FAST FORWARD: Dixie has found her forever home!! Her new family met her at one of our adoption events and it was LOVE at first site. They are so excited to have her as part of their family. Happy Tails Dixie!!

Daphnie

Meet Daphnie!! Our adorable, 4 year old, petite (around 40 pound) lab/shepherd mix is an Orange Co Shelter Survivor. She was on the euthanasia list for being scared, she was a stray, who was in good condition, wearing a nice new collar, but sadly no one came looking for her. She was set to be a casualty of the 4th of July when we just couldn't let that happen. Thankfully, we found a spot for her and now she is safe and ready for a new home. Daphnie is a sweet, but shy girl, who has been a bit over whelmed with all the noise of the season. She is settling in now and doing much better. She appears to be good with other dogs, knows some commands, is pretty good on the leash and is house trained. She is enjoying her walks and spending time with our volunteers. FAST FORWARD: Daphnie has found her forever home. She has a doggy friend and a wonderful mom and dad who LOVE her!!! She is one lucky girl to have found such and awesome home.
