Clancy Clancy is an adorable, 8-10 month old, Lab/Ret mix who was found as a stray in Hesperia and ended up at the local shelter. How anyone could loose such an adorable puppy is really beyond our comprehension. Clancy is a typical happy, goofy, silly pup. He is playful, smart, well socialized and ready to learn. Clancy appears to be house trained and we are working on crate training and some basic manners. He is a diamond in the ruff and will make an amazing family dog with just a little bit of training. FAST FORWARD: Clancy has found his forever home. His new family is in LOVE with him and are so happy he is part of their family.
Chance 1 Who can resist this ADORABLE face?? Puppy Chance was rescued yesterday from the Baldwin Park Shelter. He had someone with a commitment to adopt but they never showed up putting this poor puppy in danger! Thankfully, our volunteer was there and now he is safe with us getting the once over at the vet. This handsome, 6 month old, 31 pound guy is ready for a loving home. A shelter is no place for a puppy. Chance is a sweet, happy, loving pup who wants to cuddle and please. He is well socialized and ready to go!! FAST FORWARD: Chance has found his forever home. He is one lucky boy and they are one lucky family to have him in their lives. His new family loves him SO MUCH!!!
Candy 1 I informed my husband, Greg, we were taking care of my friends dog while she was at lunch. My husband didn't suspect anything. Candy, now Shanti, integrated with our pack quickly. I tried to get Greg to bond with her a little, but he was avoiding her as he misses his boy, Mowgli. I encouraged him to bring Shanti down to the gathering we were having at the barn. He quickly said no! I could tell he just didn't want to get attached and bring up his feelings of missing Mowgli. Half way through the party I brought Shanti down to the party. I gave Greg a little Valentine gift box. When he opened it, there was a collar and tag with our info on it. It took him a minute to understand, but once he did he was absolutely thrilled. He is so excited and truly happy with Shanti. I named her Shanti, as it's the name of Mowgli's girlfriend in the Jungle Book. I thought it was a nice tribute to Mowgli and a sweet way to keep his memory alive in this energetic and adorable little girl.
Crystal Crystal was 7 months old when we took her into our rescue. She found a great home not long after taking her in. Her new owners commented: Denali is doing very very well. We moved homes and so that provided a bit of adjustment, but it has a bigger yard and I think that she is happy here. We drove her last summer (2013) to Idaho to go on a backpacking trip which she adored! We just got back from taking her and the kids to Idyllwild and we had a great time. We still have not done puppy training - something that I regret but she is still pretty well behaved. Denali is still very very social and loves other dogs.
Cisco Cisco has found his forever home!! He is one LUCKY boy.... Tall, dark and handsome he sure is! Cisco is a 2 year old stunner who was on the euthanasia list at the Orange County Shelter. Why you ask? Because at the shelter he was nervous, can you blame him? Once out he was a different dog, happy, a little unsure about new things, but adapted quickly and is just a doll! Cisco is well mannered, easy going, good on the leash and knows some basic commands. He is good with other dogs and very playful. He rides well in the car and is house trained. As you can see in his picture, his new owner loves him!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
