Blacky

Meet Blacky!! Look at this water loving, adorable fella. This handsome dude was dumped at the OC Shelter by his family after they admitted they never bothered to train or work with him…no time! UGH! Well, their loss is going to be someone else's gain as Blacky is AWESOME!! Blacky is a typical goofy lab, he is happy, energetic and a big water loving dork. Blacky is eager to please, he has already learned sit and he walks well on the leash. He is great with other dogs, playful, house trained and easy going! He is truly a terrific dog and oh so cute! FAST FORWARD: Blacky, now known as Vinny (the black dog in the picture) has found his forever home! His new family LOVES him!!! He is already enrolled in training and they just love him to pieces for all his goofiness. Vinny is one LUCKY boy to have such a wonderful family to love him!!

Brodie

This adorable 3 year old Boxer mix once had a loving home. You see…his family was in the military…they got deployed…they didn't want him to go to a shelter as we all know what happens there, so they surrendered him to a "rescue." Sadly, the rescue turned into a hoarding situation and Brodie along with many other dogs and cats found themselves both starved for food and affection. When we heard about Brodie we immediately rescued him from the property. He is an AWESOME boy! Great with kids, other dogs (big and small), house trained and knows some commands. Brodie is fun, playful, and very smart. He was loved once and deserves that happiness again. FAST FORWARD: We rescued Brodie last February. He was a runner and a jumper. We couldn't leave him in the backyard without tethering him to a rope. He got out of our property 10+ times and my husband would have to chase him 3-5 miles each time. Sometimes he would come back on his own and sit across the street staring at us, but wouldn't come to us for hours. He is a nervous doggy in new situations, but after some training and time, he finally trusts us. He is mostly an indoor dog now and when he goes outside he stays in the yard and doesn't jump! My husband walks him off leash and he loves sitting in our front yard watching the kids play. Most importantly he is part of our family and we love him!

Blake (aka Mr. Handsome)

Blake aka Mr Handsome is Waiting To Meet You!! Tall, handsome and a goofball, yep that is Blake! This adorable fella was adopted from us as a puppy and then returned a year later because he needed more than they could provide. Yes, he needs exercise, a play buddy and some structure, but don't they all? Blake is a fun loving, playful, happy go lucky guy who would love an active family to take him places. He is house trained, rides well in the car, good on the leash and is well socialized with dogs big and small. Blake settles down nicely and even loves to cuddle! He is AWESOME!!! FAST FORWARD: Blake, now named Oscar is with his new family!! They love him and couldn't believe they found such a perfect fit so fast! He's been having lots of play dates with his former foster mom's dog, Rebel. His new family LOVES him!!! He is one LUCKY boy!!!

Bella

Meet Puppy Bella!! Our beautiful puppy had a pretty rough start. She was originally with another rescue who didn't know she had a bad break in her front leg near her growth plate. After 2 months of being unable to properly care for her they asked us if we would help. We definitely didn't need another medical case, but we weren't going to let Bella down. Bella's cast just came off and now it's about building the strength back up in her leg. She is such a trooper and absolutely amazing! Bella LOVES other dogs, wants to snuggle with her people and is just a typical, happy puppy. She rides great in the car, is house trained and crate trained. Bella LOVES water!!! We have even started her on some water therapy to help build the muscle up in her leg. She has a little limp from her leg being in a cast, but she gets around with no problem at all. Bella is a total sweetheart who is looking for her forever home. FAST FORWARD: OH MY!! Bella has found her forever home with a wonderful couple who just adore her!! Her new family said she is doing very well and is so smart. She learns quickly and is just a sweetheart. They LOVE Bella and she is lucky to have them as her new mom and dad.

Brandy

Meet Brandy!! Brandy is about a year old and weighs around 50 lbs. She's good with other dogs, but needs to regain her trust in humans as she was mistreated by her previous owner. Brandy needs to be in a home with another dog companion who can help her overcome her fears. She needs a patient and understanding family who is home during the day to help her regain her trust in people. FAST FORWARD: Brandy found the most incredible home!! Her new mom and dad had the patience and time to give this beautiful girl a chance. It took several months for Brandy to build her trust back, but her new family never gave up. Brandy is one lucky girl to have found a family who understood that time and patience was all she needed to become the best dog ever!!
