Benny

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Benny!! All we can say about Benny is WOW! He is AMAZING!! Benny was owner surrendered to the Sacramento Shelter. He scored ACES on his temp test and was going to be made available for adoption but he had an old medical issue that derailed that. At least a year and a half ago Benny had tears on both his ACL's, over time they have created enough scar tissue so he doesn't need surgery, but some good old swimming and physical therapy would do him wonders! Benny is GREAT with other dogs, loves kids, loves to play ball, is house trained, rides well in the car and is seriously pretty darn perfect! Nothing slows him down, he is always happy and ready to play! If a foster is found in San Diego he has Maja at Tsavo's Canine Rehabilitation & Fitness Center, Inc. ready to help him with swim and physical therapy! Let's make this happen for this WONDERFUL 4 year old fella!! FAST FORWARD: Benny has found his forever home!! His new family loves him. He gets along with their cats and chickens and loves swimming in their pool. Benny is one lucky boy to have found such a great family to love him!!!

Benji

Meet Puppy Benji!! Just look at that face!! Benji is an adorable, 5 pound, 3 month old nugget who was sprung from the Carson Shelter. Can you say ADORABLE?? This sweet guy is all fun and snuggles in his foster home!! Benji is doing great with his bigger foster siblings, he loves to snuggle and is a rock star with house training. Benji is eager to learn and has an awesome personality! He is truly a gem! FAST FORWARD: Benji has found his forever home. His new mom is elated to have Benji as part of her family. She says he is a very smart boy and learns quickly. Benji has brought love into their home, and they are so happy we choose them to adopt Benji. They LOVE him!!!

Bonded Pair Polly and Sophia

Meet Polly and Sophia!! Polly (66 pounds) and Sophia (50 pounds) are 8 year old bonded sisters who were left at the Baldwin Park Shelter by their family when they moved and didn't take them along. They sat there un-noticed for 3 weeks, and when they were euthanasia listed we got them the heck out of there! These girls are TOO SWEET!! They are perfect! They are both in a very temporary foster home and we are hoping to get them into a permanent situation ASAP! They are 100% house trained, easy going, walk well on the leash together, low energy, eager to please and they LOVE attention!! They are both great with people and kids, they just want to be loved! These two will warm your heart and make you smile! POLLY AND SOPHIA FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOME!! Yes, Networking, begging and people sharing got Polly and Sophia into the BEST forever home!! Their new family drove all the way down from Northern California to meet them. As luck would have it they wanted to adopt an older bonded pair after having lost the pair they had previously adopted. One of our amazing followers and friends sent them Polly and Sophia and they instantly wanted to drive down to meet them. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! Our beautiful girls went home and are doing GREAT! They are "happy as clams!" We are THRILLED!! Happy Tails Polly and Sophia!!

Bonnie

Meet Bonnie!! Bonnie is a sweet, sassy, full of life girl who we had to spring from the Apple Valley Shelter. She had been circulating on Facebook, but there was no plan for her and the shelter was going to euthanize her. We had hoped another rescue was going to step up, but they didn't. Bonnie is now safe with us but needs a foster and out of boarding ASAP! Bonnie just wants a soft bed and a blanket to cuddle with. She still has some get up and go, but she is also chill and easy. She rides well in the car, is completely house trained and is easy on the leash. She has a bunch of fatty lumps all over her body, but she is still happy and healthy for her age. FAST FORWARD: Finally after almost a year, Bonnie has found her forever home. Her new owner fell in LOVE with her as soon as he met her. Bonnie is one LUCKY girl to have such a wonderful person to love and give her the attention she needs.

Brock

Meet Brock!! Hard to believe such a handsome, English style Labrador, would need our help…but he did! This sweet, happy, goofy, 2 year old boy was dumped with his pal and left to fend for themselves. When we were alerted to them of course we said we would help. Brock is an awesome boy!!! Loves everyone he meets. He is strong, needs some leash manners and a little basic training, but after that he will be perfect!!! FAST FORWARD: It's been two years since we adopted out Lab Brody (aka Brock), from Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue, he lost about 30 pounds and he is a healthy, happy and a very loving dog! Thank you for the great labor that you do!
