Apollo

In May of 2017, around lunch time, we were tagged on a Parvo pup in need at the San Bernardino Shelter. We immediately made some calls and we agreed to take over the treatment of the puppy, who we named Apollo. Apollo is about 9 weeks old, he tested a strong positive for Parvo and is now hospitalized receiving intensive IV treatment to help him pull through this. FAST FORWARD: Apollo was able to overcome Parvo thanks to all of you who donated towards his care. He went to one of our wonderful foster families to build his strength back up and to be a healthy puppy again. An awesome family saw Apollo and knew he was the dog for their family. Apollo's foster mom loved the family. Apollo is now a healthy happy boy who is getting all the LOVE and attention he so much deserves. Happy Tails Apollo!!!

Astro

Meet our ADORABLE puppy Astro!! Astro was left at the Carson Shelter by his family. One of our volunteers saw him and knew he needed out of there as soon as possible. It was Labradors and Friends to the rescue thanks to the volunteer who offered to foster this sweet boy. FAST FORWARD: it didn't take long for him to find his forever home. His new family met him the day after we rescued him and took him home to give him all the love and attention he deserves. Astro was one lucky boy to have found his forever family so quickly. Happy Tails Astro!!!

Avery

Forever Home Wanted!! Meet puppy Avery!! Avery was rescued from the Orange County Shelter after he tested positive for Parvo. We heard about him and stepped up to help this darling boy. Thanks to everyone's donations, we were able to get him the medical treatment he needed. Avery is completely healed and is looking for his forever home. He is a sweet typical puppy, full of love, kisses and puppy breath!! FAST FORWARD: Avery has found his forever home. He beat the odds of surviving Parvo and has now found his forever family to love him and give him all the attention he deserves. Happy Tails Avery!!!

Austin

Meet Austin from Louisiana!! Many of you know we were part of the latest efforts to rescue dogs from the flood ravaged areas of Louisiana, well now it is time to introduce you to them individually! This is Austin and OH MY DAWG he is amazing!! Austin is about a year old black labrador who found himself in a high kill shelter after the floods. To say he is fabulous is almost an understatement! Austin got to spend the day at one of our volunteers homes getting a bath, playing in the pool and being spoiled! Austin is great with other dogs, good with kids, clearly LOVES to swim and is one of those dogs you just shake your head knowing he could have been euthanized. Austin appears to be house trained, loves to play ball, is pretty good on the leash and would benefit from some basic training. FAST FORWARD: We had numerous applications for Austin. Our goal is to find the best home for both the dog and the adopter. Well, we found the most incredible home for Austin!! His new family is perfect for him! He gets to swim everyday and he gets a lot of love, attention and exercise. Austin scored big time and so did his new family!!

Annie 2

Meet Annie!!! Annie was found as a stray in the high desert. It was hot and desolate and she was scared. She wound up in the Hesperia shelter...not where she was intending to go. When her time was up the shelter asked us to help her, and we fell for her charm. At 4 years young Annie is at that perfect age...energetic, focused and eager to please! Annie is working on her manners and she improves every day, but of course she would love to bond with a new family over a training class and a few good treats! Annie loves to play with other dogs and is house trained. FAST FORWARD: Annie has found her forever family!! They came to our adoption event and fell in LOVE with her!! She now has a family to love her forever. Annie is one LUCKY girl!!!
