We wanted to share this message from Mousie's foster mom…it is amazing what 2 weeks can do! Please follow Mousie's progress on Mousie is a Fighter she is doing amazing!!! Hello all of you amazing, loving Mousie supporters, it's Mousie's foster mom here. I just have to say that speaking for the rescue and especially for myself, I am overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and support you have shown for this beautiful girl. With the thousands of posts since Mousie came into our rescue, there was only 1, yes 1, negative and mean spirited comment. With great joy, I learned how to block and ban any future posts from this horrible individual! Mousie is an inspiration for so many, she's brought hope to some people who have struggles. Yes, I read each and every comment, which is why there may be a lag time in my reply. Many of the comments move me to tears. Mousie embodies all that is good in this world. She has a fighting spirit, she forgives and she loves even though she has every reason not to. I hope Mousie has shown all of us that our actions, even if it seems small to us, can have a tremendous impact. Had Malissa Luna not stopped on her way to work on July 30th, surely Mousie would have died in that gutter where the air temperatures were 100 degrees. The act of reaching out to help someone in need doesn't just have to be to help an animal in distress. Look at those around you. If someone looks sad to you, take a moment and ask them how they are. Share a smile. You may just be the one that turns a person around when they feel lost and hopeless.
