Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Hawkeye!!

This handsome lab/dane mix was picked up as a stray and brought to the Hesperia Shelter. He came in already neutered and with a microchip so there were high hopes his family was looking for him...sadly, no one ever came. Being a big, black dog in a shelter is never a good thing and when they asked us to help him we did. 

Hawkeye is a big love bug!! He is happy, energetic, eager to please and well socialized. He needs a little brus h up on his leash skills, but he is coming along and doing better every day! Hawkeye appears to be house trained, crate trained and he is eager to learn and explore new things! He would make an excellent hiking/jogging partner!
