Meet Duke
DUKE was assigned a regal name but has no such affectations.
His first reaction to a human is to greet you with kisses as if to say – I'll be your loyal companion forever, please just take me home!
Found as a stray he was a shelter staff and volunteer favorite for his friendly puppy-like behavior.
He enjoys playing with other dogs but also is comfortable being part of a smaller pack.
About 3 years old and a big boy with gorgeous brindle coloring and distinctive white paws, DUKE is probably best suited to a mature household with an experienced bigger dog handler who can teach him some household manners.
