Foster or forever home wanted!! Meet Cha Cha.

Cha Cha's story is one that breaks your heart. She came to us as an owner surrender on February 5th. This isn't because her family didn't want her anymore, they happen to love her very much. Her owners are both blind. Cha Cha came into their lives 6 years ago as a rescue from the Seaaca shelter in Downey when her owners seeing eye dog passed away to cancer. While not a trained seeing eye dog, she is their emotional support animal. Recently, one of Cha Cha's owners became incapacitated due to complications of long covid. He has been moved into a rehabilitation facility for an unknown period of time. A very close friend has been trying to help as much as she can, but it's just become too much for the owner.

Cha Cha is a very sweet and gentle old gal. She loves people, friendly with other dogs and loves cats! She is housetrained and good on the leash. If Cha Cha sounds like a dog that would fit into your family, please submit an application.
