Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Sweet Pea!!!!

Sweet Pea entered the shelter system as a very pregnant stray and quickly gave birth to her 7 puppies (5 males, 2 females). Despite the environment Sweet Pea was the best mama and kind to all staff helping her and her puppies.  Lucky for Sweet Pea and her puppies a foster stepped up and we were able to rescue them and place them all in a loving foster home to nurse and grow up safely.  Now it is Sweet Pea’s turn to find a forever home.  Sweet Pea is a kind, gentle, calm loving lab pit mix thought to be about five years old who has basic house manners and just loves people and dogs and puppies of all sizes (cats are unknown).  Sweet Pea does have a bit of a shy/timid nature to the leash, loud noises and quick movements and can pancake in response to those.
