This big handsome hunk is as sweet as they come. How he initially ended up in the shelter with no family bailing him out is beyond us.

Chuck is a 6 year old, 60 lb lab mix who has patiently been waiting over a year for his forever family to find him. Since joining our rescue as a shy and scared boy, this boy has blossomed into a the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. He enjoys short walks with lots of breaks in shaded grass to roll in - a hiking buddy he is not! His number one all time favorite activity is belly rubs…I mean, if that were a competitive sport, Chuck would take home the gold!

He is a simple guy with simple needs—love, patience, and lots of treats. He would thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the attention and finally learn what it means to be a beloved family member. With a little time to settle in and learn what it means to have a family, Chuck will repay you with unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and the kind of companionship only a rescue dog can offer.
