Poodle (Toy) : : Female (not spayed)
...Another Bright Star In The Sky Tonight... Two weeks before Christmas we rescued a mom and her two puppies from the San Bernardino City Shelter. Molly, the mom, was a super sweet, 2-4 year old poodle mix who loved everyone and everyone loved her back. Molly's picture caught the eye of one of our volunteers and our adorable girl went to an amazing home! Molly was doing great, she was loved, happy and enjoying her life. Two weeks ago Molly became very ill. Her red count was d angerously low, she was dehydrated, lethargic and was having rear end weakness. She went to our vet and spent 6 days hospitalized getting treatment and diagnostics done. She was beginning to show signs of improvement, so she went home to continue recovering. The first day she was doing well but then she started to decline again. Her mom tried alternative therapies to try and give her some relief. All through this her appetite was good, but her body was failing. Yesterday she was having a very hard day, lots of crying and her mom took her back to the vet. Molly was suffering and no one wanted that... Molly made her way to the Rainbow Bridge with her mom holding her and loving her. We don't know what ultimately took her from us, in the end it doesn't matter, she left us far too soon and had a great home and full life ahead of her. Godspeed sweet Molly...we tried so hard and in the end the greatest gift we could give you was peace and freedom from a body that was failing you...run free...Until we all meet again...
Forever Home Wanted: Meet Molly!! What a difference a bath and a grooming can make!! Molly was picked up as a stray with her 2 puppies and taken to the San Bernardino City Shelter. One of her puppies had a broken leg, so we immediately said we would help, then we learned about Leonardo and his brother and we rescued the family! Molly is a sweet, loving, AWESOME girl! The shelter said she was 7 years old, but we think she is more like 2 years old. She is great with everyone she meets, good with other dogs and appears to be house trained . Molly's pups are 9 weeks old, so she is ready to find a forever home. Molly would love a foster home while she waits. We believe Molly is a poodle mix, she will need to be groomed and appears not to shed.
