Forever Home Wanted: Meet Austin from Louisiana!! Many of you know we were part of the latest efforts to rescue dogs from the flood ravaged areas of Louisiana, well now it is time to introduce you to them individually! This is Austin and OH MY DAWG he is amazing!! Austin is about a year old black labrador who found himself in a high kill shelter after the floods. To say he is fabulous is almost an understatement! Austin got to spend the day at one of our volunteers homes getting a bath, playing in the pool and being spoiled! Austin is great with other dogs, good with kids, clearly LOVES to swim and is one of those dogs you just shake your head knowing he could have been euthanized. Austin appears to be house trained, loves to play ball, is pretty good on the leash and would benefit from some basic training.
